Global Blacklist Problem

Hi;

I use to MailCleaner both for sending and receiving mail. Mailcleaners External ip address been blacklisted a lot lately.(spamhouse, zen, CBL, etc.)

where am I doing wrong ? what I need to check ?

- Check if you accidentally became an open relay.
- Check your relayed messages. Maybe one of your domains are sending spam mails. MC only checks for Virus for outgoing mail, not spam.

There are no open relay connection on my mail server and my MC external.
Last time I had a blacklist problem, there wasn't a lot of mail sent or relayed on the MC and on my mail server.

Unless the IP had a blacklist history that you didn't realize up till now, clearly someone; using your MC installation as a relay, is spamming.
Even if they don't think they are sending spam, the recipients surely does. Or sometimes they outright send spam to honeytrap addresses.

You better check abuse reports to find out which domain is sending it and kick them out.
Nobody lists your servers for no reason, especially when it's multiple RBLs.

there is always the possibility that the netrange you are in.. gets flagged and listed ..
next time you get listed .. check IPadresses neighbouring you ..

but much points to what Nomad writes..
