How did you hear about Mailcleaner: Google

Cacti

Postby mbx » Fri Apr 11, 2014 10:08 pm

I see a few people are running Cacti to snmp their mailcleaner machines.

I am having trouble getting interface stats, saying no snmp data returned.

Anyone have any ideas or a walk through ?

TIA

mbx,

I remember an old post giving https://[yourmailcleaner]/admin/downloads/MAILCLEANER-MIB.txt as a source for what to tap in to. In Configuration -> Services -> snmp monitoring you need to add your ip to the allow list. Also note your read community. If you've got to this part and you're thinking 'Well Duah'. You may have to look at logs and post more detail with regards to what is not working.

Thanks Tom,

I managed to get standard SNMP stuff like CPU/Interface etc but I confess I have no idea what to do with the mailcleaner MIBs :$
