Is there a way to release all caught spams for a domain?

Postby webservio » Thu Sep 01, 2011 9:28 pm

This might be an unusual question but I need to release every quarantine spam (about 9000 emails). I was wondering if there is a script to do this for a specific domain? The web interface does not have any other way than releasing one by one. Thanks in advance.

Download the attachment and extract in /usr/mailcleaner/bin
chmod 755 bulk_force_message.pl

from /var/mailcleaner/spam run...

for i in `find ./domain.com/ -mtime -60`; do /usr/mailcleaner/bin/bulk_force_message.pl $i ; done
(goes back 60 days for the domain domain.com)

Boy Uncltom,

I believe this is the second time that you are bring my life saver. I very much appreciate your tip.
Couple of questions:

1. You remarked about extracting attachments but I am sure exactly how. If you would give me a pointer.
2. The environment is a cluster environment. My question is do you do that for each member node?

Again, thanks so much for your support.

Regards,

Mishi

I would assume yes you do this for each member but I am not sure.

Save the attachment in /usr/mailcleaner/bin
Run these commands...
tar zxvf bulk_force_message.tar.gz
chmod 755 bulk_force_message.pl
cd /var/mailcleaner/spam

Then follow the instructions on each node.... (Yes you'll have to do this to each node as well.)

Hi,

I'm trying to use your bulk_force_message.pl with 2014 version of mailcleaner.

I get this:

Global symbol "$for_domain" requires explicit package name at /usr/mailcleaner/bin/bulk_force_message.pl line 57.
Global symbol "$for_local" requires explicit package name at /usr/mailcleaner/bin/bulk_force_message.pl line 152.
Global symbol "$for_local" requires explicit package name at /usr/mailcleaner/bin/bulk_force_message.pl line 154.
Global symbol "$for_domain" requires explicit package name at /usr/mailcleaner/bin/bulk_force_message.pl line 159.
Global symbol "$for_local" requires explicit package name at /usr/mailcleaner/bin/bulk_force_message.pl line 159.
Execution of /usr/mailcleaner/bin/bulk_force_message.pl aborted due to compilation errors.

Can you please help me?

Thanks
