Surpress Messages to Sender?

Postby Andrew01 » Thu Aug 24, 2017 8:29 am

Hello All,

Mailcleaner sends Messages to Sender of an email like this: "This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on mailcleaner."
How can i disable this Feature?

Thank You

This is a part of the e-mail standard and I don't think it can or should be removed. People assume that the message arrived almost instantly. It is important to inform people that it has not reached its destination. Maybe a better question is why your outbound e-mail from mailcleaner is not being delivered for days.

Ah that is different. The fact that they are getting a mail not delivered yet suggests that the message is being rejected at some other point than mailcleaner. If mailcleaner dropped the messsage or quarantined the message, these emails would not be generated.

Long story short... are these messages getting stuck in the outbound queue?

If people are getting message not delivered yet messages, that means somewhere the messages are getting stuck for some length of time. Have you seen messages stuck in the mail queues?

Yes for sure the messages stuck in the mail spool until we release them.
We only release the Attachment if a user ask so.
