I just uploaded the 0.96.1 binaries, so you might just do that:
Code:
> aptitude update
> aptitude safe-upgrade
> cd /usr/mailcleaner
> cvs -q update -dP
> /etc/init.d/mailcleaner restart

and ClamAV will be up-to-date.

Note: this will also update all other binaries packages. Nothing problematic as they are all stable, but just to let you know that the download will weight some MB

Wonderful, ClamAV updated smoothly to 0.96.1. Thanks very much, olivier.

One other thought, it would be nice to have firewall control for limiting access to ssh and https to certain IPs in the web configurator as in previous versions. A minor thing, but would be very nice to not have to fiddle with IPtables manually.

Failed to install both versions 32 and 64 bit. First part goes fine. Then u reboots and on the first boot, you receive a 5 option menu. When it gets to install the mailcleaner it fails on MySQL configuration. Then there are a bunc of errors and it hangs. If you reboot it in about 2 hours, nothing will start due to missing config files.

I just did an apt-get update / upgrade (bad move on my part, just force of habit) and MC stopped forwarding mail. I went through the upgrade process from the announcement post viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1002 and all is back to normal.

I also am having the same problem as alon1205, MYSQL fails and machine is becomes unbootable due to missing config files.

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'mailcleaner'@'localhost' (using password:YES)

Both the 32bit and 64bit versions fail to install.

Quoting Olivier (more of less) : current beta is at least as stable as MailCleaner 2006.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get LDAP working on MC 2010 B3 and a Win 2008 R2 DC?

We're running a single fresh install of Beta 3 on a new machine.

We're seeing this message in Status (/admin/monitorstatus):

NOK cannot fetch web service: Error Fetching http headers

Also, all of the processes are being shown as "critical". We have restarted Mailcleaner to make sure that everything is not critical and is running:

/etc/init.d/mailcleaner restart

I have the same question... it's been in beta for more than 4 months. Any reason why it's not yet released?
