Here is the IBM RBL (popular on MXTOOLBOX at this time):

Code: Select all

cat <<END  | /usr/mailcleaner/bin/mc_mysql -m
use mc_config;
insert into dnslist values ("IBMDNS", 'dnsbl.cobion.com.', 'blacklist', 1, '<a target="_blank" http://filterdb.iss.net/iprcheck/">http://filterdb.iss.net/iprcheck/</a>' );
END

cat <<END > /usr/mailcleaner/etc/rbls/IBMDNS.cf
name=IBMDNS
type=IPRBL
dnsname=dnsbl.cobion.com
sublist=127.0.0.\d+,IBMDNS,dnsbl.cobion.com list
END

/etc/init.d/mailcleaner restart

I've added it to PreRBL. I'm wondering something: Is the RBL queries are log somewhere and how can I see these queries ?

Ex.: I want to tail a log that will show something like :

Code: Select all

For message XYZ.XYZ : query (spamhaus=false,ibmdns=false,spamcop=false, etc.)

Hi,

Thanks for this great post!!
What is the current up-to-date RBL fun pack?
With the adjustments of both cglmicro and ChrisKnight.

I've added SPAMCANNIBAL yesterday, but now ASPEWS that is available has an additionnal zone not include in SORBS aggregation of zones:

Code: Select all

cat <<END  | /usr/mailcleaner/bin/mc_mysql -m
use mc_config;
insert into dnslist values ("ASPEWSSORBS", 'aspews.ext.sorbs.net.', 'blacklist', 1, '<a target="_blank" href="http://www.aspews.org/">http://www.aspews.org/</a>' );
END

cat <<END > /usr/mailcleaner/etc/rbls/ASPEWSSORBS.cf
name=ASPEWSSORBS
type=IPRBL
dnsname=aspews.ext.sorbs.net
sublist=127.0.0.d+,ASPEWSSORBS,aspews.ext.sorbs.net list
END

unless some of you think it's not a good DNSbl to use ?

I ask my question a second time; anyone know if MC log the RBL somewhere ?

Now adding INPS.DE:

Code: Select all

cat <<END  | /usr/mailcleaner/bin/mc_mysql -m
use mc_config;
insert into dnslist values ("INPSDE", 'dnsbl.inps.de.', 'blacklist', 1, '<a target="_blank" href="http://dnsbl.inps.de/query.cgi?lang=en">http://dnsbl.inps.de</a>' );
END

cat <<END > /usr/mailcleaner/etc/rbls/INPSDE.cf
name=INPSDE
type=IPRBL
dnsname=dnsbl.inps.de
sublist=127.0.0.d+,INPSDE,dnsbl.inps.de list
END

Is it useful to someone what I'm posting here?

I would suggest UCEPROTECT 1 and 2 at SMTP level and UCEPROTECT 3 at PreRBL level also.

Now adding Protected Sky; look promising.

Code: Select all

cat <<END  | /usr/mailcleaner/bin/mc_mysql -m
use mc_config;
insert into dnslist values ("PSKY", 'bad.psky.me.', 'blacklist', 1, '<a target="_blank" href="http://psky.me/check/">http://psky.me/check/</a>' );
END

cat <<END > /usr/mailcleaner/etc/rbls/PSKY.cf
name=PSKY
type=IPRBL
dnsname=bad.psky.me
sublist=127.0.0.d+,PSKY,bad.psky.me list
END

and restart of course... and add to the GUI.

If I have a MailCleaner cluster should I run the script on both nodes or just the primary?
