We use Creditsafe for different things, and to be able to login to Creditsafe you have to send a OTP with email. Before the update everything worked as expected, the message got Greylisted and delivered after a while. After the update though we get this in our logs:
Code: Select all
2018-02-20 17:17:19 H=(a9-91.smtp-out.amazonses.com) [220.127.116.11] sender verify fail for <firstname.lastname@example.org>: Unrouteable address
2018-02-20 17:17:19 H=(a9-91.smtp-out.amazonses.com) [18.104.22.168] X=TLSv1:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:128 CV=no F=<email@example.com> rejected RCPT <firstname.lastname@example.org>: Sender verify failed
I've tried to whitelist amazonses.com in all different ways, but without success. I even tried to whitelist the whole IP range (22.214.171.124/18) but it didn't help either.
So, as I see it there are two ways of solving this:
1. You fix Exim (or whatever needs to be fixed)
2. You tell me how I can properly whitelist *@amazonses.com so that I don't get the messages above.
