Email sent through mailcleaner smtp, unwanted box

Postby hansvdput » Wed Sep 20, 2017 1:39 pm

What i have done:

Setup 2 MailCleaner servers as cluster and configure for sending and receiving mails.
Registrered a testing domain name.
Set the MX records to my MailCleaner servers.
Set SPF records to my mailCleaner servers.

Problem:
When sending emails using SMTP relay from the MailCleaner the mails are received in the unwanted/spam folder.

Question:
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Hansvdout.
It the external ip of your MC is a static IP?

Is this ip have a PTR that match the name of your MC?

Is this name also has an A entry that match to this ip so you get a FcRdns (Forward Confirm Reverse DNS)?

If you IP is 100% clean with blacklist checker of mxtoolbox.com? You can also check the validity of your spf with mxtoolbox to make sure you didn't do any error.

Did you notice if the recipients where your emails are catch has spam are hosted on Microsoft network (i.e.: MX that ooints to *.protection.outlook.com)?

That's a start!
