Manually send the quarantine report isn´t working - an internal error

Postby mplus » Tue Aug 29, 2017 7:34 pm

I have newly implented Mailcleaner 20170415-beta from OVA to VMware environment.
It is working quite well, but automatical or manual send the quarantine report is impossible.
Exactly: "The quarantine report could not be sent to realaddress@existingdomain.tld because of an internal error. Please try again later."
I checked if all setting are correct and I didnt find mistake.
I searched some solution in forum and knowledge base, but nothing is to find.
There is only very old record: viewtopic.php?t=1430 without answer in forum.
Please, could you help me, what to do?

I have the same issue, I have filled in an email address in all possible fields, thinking this may be the issue, but still the same error. running the command manually using, "/usr/mailcleaner/bin/send_summary.pl -a 0 1" produces another error in the form of needing to install the digest sha1 module.

Scanner your error suggests that your email server is requiring a form of encryption that is not available in mailcleaner.

Here is an article why SHA 1 should not be used... ever.

Hello,

Yes, we forgot to run the install_perl_libs before publishing the Beta. However, you can see on this post that we published an Updater4MCBeta who fix your issue: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2470

However, you can directly use the last MailCleaner release (who didn't contains the sha1 perl module issue) announced here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2501

Thank you for your support.

Regards,
Mentor Reka
