HTML emails show the source instead of proper content

Postby jcm » Thu Jun 15, 2017 12:16 pm

Hi all,

I get emails now and then which clearly are HTML emails and instead of displaying the content they begin like this in the body and displays the entire HTML code. All the HTML controls are set to "allow" except for web bugs which is set to disarm:

:

------=_Part_10920626_732935102.1497525027577
Content-Type: text/html;charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

<!DOCTYPE html>

This is from the filtering engine log:

Jun 15 13:10:36 localhost MailScanner[22087]: Message 1dLSfU-00066V-K7 from 185.49.135.11 (samtale-ephtt536q@meddelande.blocket.se) to melin.org is not spam, Spamc (score=-2.2, required=5.0, T_MIME_NO_TEXT 0.0, T_FRT_CONTACT 0.0, RCVD_IN_DNSWL_MED -2.3, SPF_HELO_PASS -0.0, DKIM_SIGNED 0.1, T_DKIM_INVALID 0.0)

How do I configure Mailcleaner to stop messing up HTML emails?

Thanks,

Hello,
MailCleaner doesn't mess up HTML message or it shouldn't do. So try to set all including web bugs to allow and check if you notice a difference ?
We manage a big number of mails and we have no return of a lot of HTML messages messed up.
Also the trace you post is not complete mail with headers so diagnosis can be problematic.

Hello,
Nothing special in headers, did you try to allow all ?
Regards,
Florian
