Re: The MailCleaner Community is dead?

Hello,
Oh so hard to hear, but not completely wrong. So maybe it is time for a revival with new version ? So let's try this and follow releases ;-) (and the new site mailcleaner.org coming really soon).

Florian

Re: How to block password protected Word attachment

Hello cgl, To be honest, there is some features enabled by touching a file on MailCleaner Commercial Edition and named mc_experimentla_??? You'll find mc_experimental_docm, mc_experimental_js, etc... Directly blocking those files at SMTP level for people not afraid. So if we release by the end of th...

Re: Exclude some eamil recipients from filtering

Hello,
As an administrator, in
Configuration -> Users -> Search by mail (Or by user, then actions ->open preferences), in "Adress settings" you'll find:
"Bypass all filtering for this address".

Please don't forget you set it ;-)

Re: mailscanner virus scan exception

Hello, MailCleaner doesn't manage exceptions for Virus but you could achieve what you want by studying ClamAV exceptions. https://www.clamav.net/documents/how-do-i-ignore-whitelist-a-clamav-signature Sig folder should be /var/mailcleaner/spool/clamav/ You'll only have to find the signature matching ...

Re: finetune spamc: reject mails with score above 5.0

Hello Whitelist should work, did you enable the whitelist for your domain in your domain preferences ? And I suppose than adding this rules with this score when the messages doesn't look like to hit this specific rules will not help at all (if i understood correctly the problem !) Here you could red...

Re: New versions

Hello, We are almost ready to launch a "beta" version of the new MailCleaner. Lots of things changed at last minutes (do we redo the community website ? Do we allow Community to register and get some news ? do we create this git branch to allow community to participate ?) So we re in the l...

Re: Error using LDAPS and SMTP auth on 587

Hello, Confirmed, we got the bug some month ago too from a customer, if i remember well i let the default value but added the port after the server in the destination server field: myldapserver.test.com:636. I remember now that it was for IMAPS so probably exactly the same problem. Not really a bug ...

Re: Error when releasing a message

Hello,
Try to resync_db, try to resync_spam, try to check your slave.pl script to see if your cluster is well configured.
Best regards,

Re: /etc/sudoers overwritten

Hello, mailcleaner:~$ grep -Hrni 'sudoers' /usr/mailcleaner/ /usr/mailcleaner/etc/init.d/apache:86: sudofile=/usr/sudo/etc/sudoers I would begin by searching in this file ;-) Probably comment line 90 to 118, but re-check as could not have same exact version. Check for consequences too but i would ri...

Re: Update error

Hello, You should probably not update perl module like this as all the base code is old, in place, prefer to re-launch install and compile script after an update. You should find install_perl_libs.sh and install_sa.sh in /usr/mailcleaner/install. I can't confirm it will not brank something else but ...

Re: Debian Jessie

Hello, To say it simply: I would be happy if we could install it with a one liner without days of work ;-) For differents reasons (company policy or technical), we have to keep the existing base, and there was an installer built for the iso, some shell script for installing perl module, packages inc...

Re: integrating RSpamd

Hello, Yes we found that two years ago and i studied it. It looks like promising but when you find some statistics comparative with spamassassin, results are not so different and this is logical as there is (as far i found) no rules bases, but a compatibility with spamassassin rules ! Considering th...
