Goodbye.

I just wanted to say goodbye to you all. Thanks to everyone that has helped me, and the Mailcleaner admins for the best open source option around. Particular thanks to "Del", a real hero on here and a thoroughly good person. It has been a lot of fun and I have learnt a lot, I have donated ...

Whitelisting address before any filtering

Hi,

I want to setup an instance of MC, however I want to whitelist some email addresses that must never be blocked, even if they are from RBL IP's etc.

After playing around with the config I cannot seem to get this working. I know we do not like whitelisting :)

Anyone have any pointers?

Thanks.

Its working here, have you tried externally?

Perhaps a router/firewall/nat issue if not working internally?

Re: How to remove 1 minute delay before accepting first RCPT

Hi, Just a few ideas.. Is the delay shown in the logs? What about the PreRBL check timeout? Have you tried telnetting to the port and testing it? Although I am with Del on the cache and timeout, however if you can the callout to none then this shouldn't be relevant. I have tested one of the machines...

Have you tried downloading the package and installing ?

For example from here: http://search.cpan.org/~pmqs/Bundle-Compress-Zlib-2.055/

Re: What to change when MC misses obvious spam?

I get that part. I just don't see a place that explains what all to do that will make the community one effective. I'm having a hard time piecing it all together since there isn't one single place that lists everything. It seems like there should be a sticky somewhere that tells ALL of the recommen...
